This was Alexandra's first Halloween so I wanted her to be something unique.  I was going to make her a troll doll but I ran out of time so when I came across a kimono top I had made awhile ago I decided to go with making her a geisha costume.  I added some length to the kimono top to make it a dress.  The sash is from a turtle neck and I made the "hair" out of black fleece.  It was a fun project!

Damn! I wish I had thought of this before my daughter figured out how to rip hats of any kind off of her head. Great job, so cute!

That is adorable! Your daughter is so cute!  Also, where did you get that fabric?  I have a tiny scrap of some just like it in red, from a thrift store...It looks really nice in green.
