I whipped this up without a pattern so it's a little ill fitting (I really need to get a dressmakers model). Still it will do for now and I love the fabrics.
If there is any interest I'll write up a tutorial

I love the color and pattern choices you made, they are so rich and beautiful. And I actually think that the dress looks pretty flattering on you, at least in the photo you posted.

It looks great on you! And the pictures are awesome. But which one shows the true colour*? is it purple like in the first picture, blue or some shade of teal? anyway, this rocks! (A tutorial wold be very welcomed. Wink)

I really like your choice of fabrics Smiley. And I thin it looks like it fits you pretty well.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

Sorry about that, I was in a rush getting the images up. It's actually a deep navy.

Thanks for the kind comments, I'm really new to making clothes for adults and patterns confuse me so I end up making up my own. I'm on holidays at the moment but I'll work on getting a tute up when I get back Smiley

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Lovely shape to the dress.

How does the linen hang cut on the bias? Does the linen have a stiff or soft hand?

I think I need to make a dress like this for my self.  Smiley
