So, I'm not entering to win. I'm entering because this was my first time making anything resembling clothes and I was really, really proud of myself and- therefore- wanted to share. I'm a new self-taught craft addict and got in way over my head! My son wanted to be Captain Hook so I made the rest of our costumes around his Peter Pan theme.

What I made for each costume:
1. Captain hook
A. Jacket
B. Hook (sad, sad cardboard hook, but he loved it)
C. Pants

2. Tinkerbell
A. I made the dress

3. Wendy
A. I made the dress

4. Peter Pan
A. Just the very quickly sewn green smock (the husband's costume was a last minute addition just before going trick or treating Cheesy)

What I didn't make:
1. Captain hook
A. Shirt
B. Hat
C. Shoes

2. Tinkerbell
A. Shoes

3. Wendy
A. Shoes

4. Peter Pan
A. Everything but the smock Wink

Of course, there is only the one picture of me in my costume (since I'm usually the one taking the pictures) so I'll try to add some pictures of the dress later. All in all I was really happy with everything. Next year I'd love to make every part of everyone's costume... and maybe one day the Cubs will win the World Series  Grin

You did an AWESOME job.
my son wanted to be Captain Hook one year also. I too made the jacket, and being new to sewing, it was a little difficult. (i had so much trouble with the sleeves) I also made his hat. His little sister was tinkerbell and his older brother was peter pan.
ha ha, MAYBE one day the Cubs will win the world series. We can keep hoping, anyway Smiley

You all look fantastic. Your kids look so cute! I wish my family was awesome enough to have gone as a group like this when we were younger.

You did a fantastic job!!!  And your family is so unbelievably cute.  You should be very, very proud of yourself!  Especially on the kids clothes.  I never would have guessed this was your first time sewing clothing!
