This year I decided to go as the Cheshire Cat from the older Alice in Wonderland.

(This is also posted in the Occasions / Halloween Costume board. The costume is made from a Purple Lycra Zentai suit (ordered from cosplaygate . com )  I added the pink stripes. I made the paws using $1 pink mittens from Target, some batting, and material and a hot glue gun. The nails are made from folded paper plates.

The feet paws are $6 Walmart house shoes with paper plate toenails.

The ears are made using a headband, wire, more paper plates, cotton for stuffing, and a hot glue gun.

The makeup I did myself. Took about an hour and a half to do.

I entered into three costume contests this year and had no luck, but maybe I'll have better luck where craft is appreciated! Smiley

It's amazing what you can do with wire, a hot glue gun, and some paper plates and lots of free time!

Thanks for looking  Smiley

Really great--the colors work perfectly, and I like how sexy this costume is without being super revealing.  Wonderful Cheshire Cat!
