Packing up a crafting bag to take to the inlaws tomorrow, looking forward to stuffing myself full of delicious food and having some time to sit and crochet while the grandparents fight over who gets to hold Z, lol.

Having fun over here at my sis'.  Her daughter is sooo precious.  She has been smiling up a storm and she likes it when I ballroom dance with her.  Hehe.

Z loves to Samba with her grandpa!

Hope you feel better soon, LL!

Good luck with the pumpkin pie, CC!  I have made a few from scratch years ago (including baking the pumpkin instead of using canned pumpkin) and the smaller pumpkins (pie pumpkins) definitely taste better for the pie baking.   However, I think I will stick to canned pumpkin in general though because it is definitely a lot easier that way.  Wink

I almost have my BF sales flyer ready to go.  I think my sale will last until Monday or until my supplies run out (of one type of sale item).  But I'm saving at least one brand new item to go into my shop for Friday (and I have enough supplies to make multiples so if you're out of town or out of points etc there should be plenty to last until Monday or beyond)

Looks great Avesthel!

I'm trucking away on one last item for my shop on Friday; of course it's taking the longest to do, but I think it will be liked  Grin After I get done with that I'll get onto taking pictures of everything and make up a flyer   Cheesy

Love the flyer!  I'm not tech savvy enough to do one...  I just added a Black Friday section to my shop.

I'm really dragging today from this head-cold, but I hope I can get more done for my shop. If I end up unable to do as much as I'd hoped, I will also have a Pre-Christmas Panic!!! Sale at the end of next week. Keeping fingers crossed that I will be feeling better soon. Right now all I want to do is eat chicken soup and take a nap.  Smiley

We got to Joplin today and exchanged the baby bouncer for the roaster. On the way home, a tornadic storm blew up very quickly. We got a storm-chaser's view of a tornado. It was juuuuust to the east of us, and headed east, of course. It had not touched down while we could see it. We saw other lowerings in a storm west of us, so we high-tailed it back home. I don't know if any of those cells produced tornadoes, but they looked like they were trying. I am worn out. Don't expect to see tornadoes in the late fall, and it caught us off guard.

I hope everyone that has to travel in the Midwest today is safe. Tonight we get freezing rain.

One thing about this type of weather is that it always makes me want to bake goodies. Once I get my second wind after some tea, I will do just that. Mmm...lemon bars. Shortbread cookies. Maybe some oatmeal scotchies.

Does the person who wanted an afghan crochet hook (tunisian, as it were) still want one?  I found a brand new size H8 US (5 mm, UK or whatever) in my stash!

If they do not, I do!!!   Please put me second on the list and let me know if the first person does not claim it because I will.  Smiley

LL, glad you are safe!  How scary!    Shocked

Thank you, guys!   Smiley   I'm glad you liked the flyer.  Smiley   MissingWillow, if you create a free blog (blogger or wordpress both have page options) you can make a page using a wysiwyg (what you see is what you get) format much like the reply box here on Craftster.  It isn't much different at all from making a shop post on Craftster.  Smiley
