OOH That lion brand yarn is the best! I had some ages ago and loved it.

Oh, you did NOT just say that with all the fiber artists in this swap!  Pfffttt!  Lion Brand! Pfffttt!  I hate the way it pills ... and it's acrylic!  Pfffftttt!

Now now, MLF.  There WAS a time when acrylic was all I could afford to use, and I have afghans made by loving aunts in lovely colors and they keep us warm on a chilly night!  Cheesy

lol acrylic is one of the fibers I can use without breaking out. Sadly no alpaca, llama, angora, or fun fibers. I can use straight wools but some of them make me itchy too. Sad It's sad! SAD! SAD!  Cry Cry Cry I can't buy wool in the store though as the finishing agent they use on the yarn makes me itchy and bumpy. totally not cool.
I'm picky on my acrylics though isn't that funny! We're all fiber "snobs" in different ways.  Cheesy lol

I can use handspun but I don't typically becasue I hate working with the way it's skein-ed. I can't center pull it. and that's the way I like it. rolling or moving yarn is to tempting for the kitty.

Hehe, I thought so.  Every type has it's place.  I love acrylic for kids scarfs and amigurumi.

LL, love those ornaments.  You always find the neatest stuff.

I'd love to take a crack at that fox scarf one of these days...but I'll have to wait until Lana gets it.  She picked out a fun kitty set here:

so I guess no sewn bunny one for her this year.  Sad
Busy knitting away on my Blythe hats ATM.  Smiley
After lunch I'm cracking out the jewelry tools.  Got a bunch of stuff to make today!

Happy crafting all!!

Embroidery floss removed from my shop.
Not to worry, though (not that anyone is worried) since I am moving in 2 months or so, I will be thinning out my craft supplies and posting the surplus.  Smiley

I was going to deep clean my carpets today. I have one of those big Bissel Clean Shot steamers. I was trying to get it out of the closet, and apparently it was caught on some piece of junk I didn't see, and I tweaked my shoulder lifting it. Lame. Sad Now I need to ice my shoulder and have someone else put it away.  Cheesy

This does free up my day for crafting, though, as long as I don't move my right arm too much.

I saw these cute knitted ornaments today in an image search. Is this Norwegian? I can't tell. Smiley This would be a great way to showcase pretty hand spun... and fill it with little treats or surprises.

Again with the wonderful online finds, LL! Take care of that shoulder...crafting with a big fluffy cat beside you is the best home remedy.  Wink
