I feel like I have been SOOOO slacking in here lately!  I have GOT to tell myself I CANNOT sign up for a full load of swaps anymore...this is KILLING me with having to work OT, craft Xmas gifts, and keep up with my house.  I haven't cleaned around here, except some spot vacuuming and counter-wiping and laundry in about TWO MONTHS OR MORE.  Gads...sucks....

I have SO many projects bookmarked in 2 books to work on though, and NO shortage of fabrics to choose from to make said projects.  As much as I'm loving the cool weather and looking forward to cold weather, I want the spring/summer back so I can get apron tops in my shop that I said I would do about 4 rounds ago Undecided  This coming season, they WILL be in, both as a ready-made and custom order item.

I need to make chili myself so I can make my bomb-ass cornbread Smiley

CC, that might be the best way to go if she's a newbie beader.  Another thought is a subscription to Bead It, etc.  Really good ideas in those and the instructions are good!

Bought some cornbread and blueberry Jiffy mixes the other day when we were getting cans for the school food drive.  Yum!  Chilli sounds good too.  Tonight is Italian Night at Lana's school...so food is on my brain ATM.   LOL.

Got my Blythe doll patterns cut.  Yay!  I'm working on a button hat for our dolls now.  These will make their way into my dolly shop soon!  Smiley
This weekend I am hoping to work on your robots Funthreads and hopefully get some bibs started.  Smiley

Have you guys seen this knitted "fox-friendly" stole?  I can't decide whether it's disgusting or awesome.  I'm leaning toward awesome?  Anyone interested in figuring out how to make one??

Corn bread and chili sounds awesome. It's cool and rainy here.

Speaking of the weather, since it's so dark here, I used an LCD touch light under a clear plastic box to take this picture. The light is too bright, so the wire really shows up inside of the clear beads in this image. Sad When they are hanging up, they don't look like that. The red bugles are rainbow-finished, but that also doesn't photograph well with my current camera. The beads are quite pretty. These ones are 2 for a point, because they are more of a mental challenge to make. I'll try to take a better pic of what they really look like once it stops raining.

LL those stars are so cute, I adore your beady creations, I've been thinking of having a go at making some similar decorations and today when i was looking for something else i found a pack of bugle beads, I have some wire of different thicknesses, what gauge wire do you use? Smiley

Thanks! I use 28 ga. galvanized steel wire from the hardware store. I've never been able find wire that works the way I want it to in a craft shop. 28 ga. copper or brass wire bends and kinks too fast, and 26 ga. (common in craft shops for floral work) is just a bit too thick to make 2 passes though a bugle bead.

Here is a another picture I just took outside, during a break in the rain.  Smiley
