I think I forgot to mention this when I updated my shop in the last round, but I added a custom item listed for kid's sized lounge pants with the adult lounge pants.  I'm going to have to put STS on the back burner with respect to new items popping up in my shop, hopefully only for another week, so I can finish up my outstanding swaps and get going on STSSS.

IT'S FINALLY COLD IN FL!!!  I have the sliding door and some windows open all over the house, and I'm in LOVE.  Ahh...finally NOT sweating on my day off YAY!  It's breezy and feels like it's in the upper 50s...SOOOOO nice!!!

I would love a mounted moose head. But first we would need a bigger house, it would look goofy in our current residence Roll Eyes Hubbie would also need to kill said moose, which would mean we would be living far far far far far from Georgia (which I would be cool with Cheesy). I wonder how many points a mounted moose head would be worth Roll Eyes

I'm taking a bit of a break before I get the yarn tails ready. I got side tracked doing laundry Tongue I'm afriad I might go a bit crazy filling the gallon bag I found, so you'll have a fun time going through all of that. I can't imagine how awesome what you're going to make with all of our yarn tails is going to look! Care to give any hint as to what exactly you are going to make for yourself with it?

Ooo and a moose rug. That would be swank Wink

lol I've never mounted anything yet. But a moose head would be quite difficult and expensive in points. I can't imagine what it costs for real taxidermists to ship something like that. *shudder*

I saw someone on here last fall make scrappy hats with their tails it got me inspired. I'm thinking a hat and scarf set. It will be funky, upcycled, and a way to use something that others think of as trash. Smiley What I can't use I'm setting aside in another bag for stuffing for future toys. might do some other hats too depending on how big the ball of yarn winds up! lol no pun intended!

I need to do laundry. Today's agenda, return something at walmart, go to hobby lobby, go to the bank, and re-tag all my items to sell at the craft fair tomorrow.

Woman, you boggle my mind.  Cheesy

Ha!  Thanks Calluna!  I really just can't understand why it's gotten increasingly crazy this year.  The good news is that our conferences went well.  Smiley

Love the idea of scappy hats Eliea!  I finished hats for my nieces.  Here they are with their felt buttons so that they won't pose a choking hazzard. For now they are tied on with a bow so that my sis and bro can remove them easily.

Hey everyone! It's audio, formerly known as audio-astrophysics. Some of you know me some of you don't, I just recently changed my username, just to let you know.

Anyway, I have been thinking of joining STS for a few months now. It seems like a pretty big responsibility so I wanted to think about it before I decied to join or not. There are a lot of rules (that I'm happy to follow!) and I really don't want to mess up! I just wonder if you guys have any tips and advice for a first time STSer!

astuko- love the hats! The felt buttons are such a cute idea!

Hi audio!  Not sure if I have any good advice to pass along for first timers Wink  But I will say that the STS gals are the nicest and friendliest bunch of swappers I know.  If you ever have any questions about how things work for the swap, just post it in the swap thread Smiley  Most of the STSers have been in the swap for ages (some for as long as all 44 rounds!!!), so they're mostly likely to have the answers you're looking for!

My advice is just jump right in. The first claim is the most stressful but after that it's a breeze. You'll pick it up fast. Everyone is very nice and very helpful Grin
