I...can see things other's can't.

My cousin recently got married and she had asked me to make her a pumpkin patch. So I did.

I crocheted a few tiny (about 1-2 inches each) pumpkins out of orange yarn. Some are round and others are oblong.

I then chained and randomly did a picot stitch here and there. I also would crochet a random circle here and there in the vine. At random lengths I would slip stitch the chain to the top of a random pumpkin. I would crochet a little leaf shape at the top of the pumpkin and then continue the chain.
When it reached a length I liked I finished the chain off. My father gave me a slice of wood he had cut. I used a small amount of hot glue to hold the pumpkins to the wood the way I liked them laying the best. I then glued down the vine in random spots to keep it in shape. I glued it in a circle at the center of the wood so I could place a battery operated candle in the center. The candle can come off and it leaves a pumpkin patch with a circle of vines Smiley

I made this off the top of my head one day, so please feel free to use it for ideas, or a basic pattern. I would love to see what other people could do with this. I would have posted this before Halloween, but my cousin got married right before Halloween and I didn't want her to see what I made her Wink
