Here is a batch of hula hoops I made last weekend.  I love making these things.  It's so much fun to be creative with the colors, sizes and weights.  A handful of them are glow in the dark too which is great for all night fun.  My children love when I have a handful of hula hoops laying around.

... And my personal favorite is this one that has been dubbed the Zebra hoop...

Wow now that is a lot of hula hoops.
That's gotta be fun to make them. So personal. I would so love a glow in the dark one.

Oh how cool! I make my own hoops too. Are these half inch or three-quarter inch hoops? Have you ever experimented with glitter? I recently made a pair of mini hoops and I covered them with glitter instead of gaffer tape. they seem to work pretty well.

I have never tried glitter.  Sounds like that would work great for grip.  Does the glitter wear off very quickly?  These are all 3/4".  Some are 100psi and some are 160psi.  Do you use your mini hoops for poi hooping?  I have a pair that I've been trying to poi hoop with quit unsuccessfully.
