First off, the pictured cuff looks awesome, so I can't wait to see what you come up with in the future.
Secondly, I love octopods, manatees, giraffes, maned wolves, iguanas, bats, tree kangaroos, thylacines, lion fish and bactrian camels. As far as fantastical goes, it's got to be the chimera. My favourite animal changes a lot, haha.

Thanks everyone!! It's really helpful to know what other people like especially when I want to eventually sell things to other people! There is a craft fair coming up in december so i'm trying to get as many done as I can! so far Ive made patterns for:

foxes
falcons
opossums
deer
and some more boars/warthogs

I will probably do some octopi soon as they are one of my personal faves anyhow Smiley
I finished the needlepoint for the foxes and I'll probably post those soon too Smiley
- definitely going to do some mammoths! I was debating elephants, but i think wooly mammoths will translate much better in thread!

I have already bookmarked all of the posts you have made on here...but I swear I'm not a stalker LOL   Wink  I just love the ideas you have come up with so far!
Thanks for the awesome compliment Kristy_n_kritters! I appreciate it!!

My uber friend shouted out "Narwhal!!!" and me, not being anywhere near as cool as she is, has to answer honestly -- moles! I  love them! I actually have the chemical equation of a mole tattooed on me!

I love your embroidery. And I like pygmy anteaters, hellbenders, fennec foxes, strawberry poison dart frogs, belugas, koalas, tarsiers, sun bears, pygmy chameleons, pangolins...and since someone already said hippocampus, campchurch.
I hope this helps, or am I too late?

Chameleons!  Your color options would be amazing- like this, or this, or this, or this.

One of my favorite animals which very few people seem to be aware of is the Binturong.  They smell like Fritos, can walk down a tree face first, and have a prehensile tail.  They are awesome. Thing is, they're all one (dark!) color, so they could be a bit of a challenge to stitch on a small surface with enough detail to tell what they are.  More pictures: here, and here.

Tigers, of course.

Also Octopus.  I think a Blue Ring would look particularly good on that scale; the rings would pop well visually.

I have a weakness for Corvids (if you couldn't tell) like Ravens, Crow and Magpies.

Oooh! Pyjama Squid!

Also, if we're talking extinct animals, might I suggest Mammoths and Giant Ground Sloth? Something like Smilodon would be cool too.
