Sock Monkey Biscornu by Blackbird Pie, on Flickr

Pattern by Magpie Night on Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop/magpienight

It's my first biscornu and it was quite fun & satisfying to put together.  This one is a gift, I am going to try another pattern to make one for myself.

Haha I love it!  The combination of traditional, delicate needlework, and... sock monkeys!   Cheesy

That is what I loved about it too.  I had to stitch it on linen to give it the extra authenticity when you view it IRL.  It makes you do a little double-take when you don't realize they are sock monkeys at first glance.

Oh wow, my pattern! Cheesy Yay! You did such an awesome job! I stitched one for myself but I have never seen one from someone else. It looks great!

OK, now THIS is a clever play on a traditional item! Well done is an understatement.
