I'm going to a Halloween party in my city's arts district. I rooted around in my closets, put my skirt on upside down over a pair of Assets and will go as....

Little Edie from Gray Gardens!

I'm glad I tried the costume on before the party. It's hard to walk up stairs in an upside down pencil skirt. I'm going to open one of the side seams with a seam ripper.

This is great. I love it when I see the thumbnail and I just know exactly where you're going. Even as a very young child I was an avid late night viewer (insomnia will do that for ya) and I can remember the first time I saw Grey Gardens, it's just one of those films that leaves an indelible mark on the psyche. Whenever I hear "Tea For Two" Little Edie pops into my head full of life singing and dancing amidst the squalor. Such an interesting couple of ladies.  Have a blast at your party! You look positively staunch! S-T-A-U-N-C-H!
