Darth Vader Princess!

I know it isn't quite Halloween yet, but I wanted to share a pic of the costume I made for my Star Wars loving 5 year old daughter!

I was inspired by other images I had seen on the net of Darth Vader girl costumes, and thought what a perfect costume for my little girl! A combo of her favourite things! Pink, tutus, tiaras, and Star Wars!

She loves Star Wars! And a few of my adult girlfriends have also mentioned they would like this in adult size.

I really hope that, one day when I have my own place and I spend my Halloweens giving out candy to kids (rather than romping around in costumes with other college-age peeps making a fool of myself ^_^), I'll see a kid in a costume like this.  Of course, I'd have to give that kid all the candy I have, so it would be bad news for the other kids,  !

I saw this costume and FREAKED! So absolutely cute! So just the other day I was at Target and back on their clearance rack was a Adult Darth Vader costume left over from Halloween with the electronic light up mask for $2!! YEA! So when I was at the check out this lady saw it in my cart and was like, nice costume and I said; it's for me! I'm going to do the Darth Vader Princess next year! She was like OMG I saw that on craftsters! How awesome! LOL! Now I just need to cut it up, girly it up! So excited and LOVE yours! Thanks for the inspiration.

And that's pretty cool to have been recognized by another Craftster member randomly, and not even in my own country!! Thank you so much.

Just to let you know, Halloween for my daughter was a huge sucess. The costume brought her some hefty loot, and she still wears it just for play at home.
