Yay, first topic!

So, awhile back I bought this adorable hot pink Mario Hoodie from Wal-Mart on sale. It was made for kids (think toddlers), but I'm itty bitty so I thought I could fit into it. Plus, for four bucks, can't go wrong.
Then when I got home, try as I might to squeeze into it I just couldn't do it.

After a fair bit of sulking, I got the idea to turn my hoodie into a bag that I could use. So, I chopped off the hood and sleeves and got to sewing.

The pictures aren't fabulous because the colors are a little off, but the bag itself turned out really well (for a beginner sew-er) and I am so in love with it. It holds a great deal of weight as well, rocking my laptop without putting too much stress on the stitches.

I've spent days making stuff to sell for conventions, so it feels really great to have something this awesome just for ME.

Alright, on to the pictures now! (Sorry I don't have any before or sewing process pictures, I didn't think to take any.)
