I have wanted one of these purses forever, but I don't eat many chips. It took me a year to save up enough chip bags. I had no idea how many it would take. This bag is made of 20 rows of 90-wrapper chains.
The handles came from a thrifted purse. I made a simple lining with an interior patch pocket and a loop for my key ring. I made tabs of extra wrappers and folded them over the rings and stitched them down to attach the handles. This bag took waaaay longer than I ever thought it would to make, but I love it.

I basically followed this tutorial, but made it larger and modified it for the type of handles I wanted.

I love this! I am always intrigued by them in the store as well. I think yours turned out lovely!
I would love to hear more about how you made it!
