I didn't know where to put this, or if these are considered tapestry, but I think they are. Haha.
I have some obsession with trees, and I will randomly make tapestry type things.
They are basically big pieces of fabric with smaller pieces sewn on top.

I've only made three, because I'll get really motivated to cut the pieces out, but it takes me forever to get around to sewing them

Off-white-ish tree, blue background:

Purple tree, black background:

Black tree, sunset background:

At some point in life I want to put a back on them & make them into quilts.. but that'll have to wait, haha.

They all look so nice. I would love to see them all as quilts. Since the shapes are simple, you could get some great details in there.

They look great, and I'm glad I'm not the only one with an obession with trees, expecially bare ones..haha. I would also think they would look awesome in quilts.

These are very nice.  I would call them applique or quilted wall hangings.  Tapestry is
"a fabric consisting of a warp upon which colored threads are woven by hand to produce a design, often pictorial, used for wall hangings, furniture coverings, etc." Needle point is sometimes referred to tapestry also. 

Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
