Crazy is good! So is risque!  Grin Pumpkins with teeth--maybe not.  Wink

It just hit me last night, "Uh oh, day-after-tomorrow I'm supposed to have this book ready to write in!"  So I was slinging glue and paper late into the night.  Smiley I want to cover up most of the lined pages, at least with some color.

I'm living/working in Yosemite Nat'l Park til further notice! Blogging about it here. No swapping for me, and minimal crafting time, for the coming months. Almost done with library school! That sums things up for now.

I got a molskine journal in case my partner is over seas but they were out of the watercolor ones *grumble* so I'll be prepping it by doubling up the pages and gessoing. I'll whip up a journal tomorrow if my partner is in the U.S.

I hope my partner likes comic books and zombies; I'm a total nerd and tonight is the AMC premiere of The Walking Dead- based on my *favorite* comic series. I also like to keep notes on what comics I'm reading/what series I plan to follow in the future. Crossing my fingers for a fellow dork!

Oh, no I just posted a reply and it hasn't shown up Sad

I've made a concertina journal, but not the cover yet - I'll do that later when I've decided what it should be, it also means I can add more pages if needed.

I did write much more, but now I have to go and tidy and do dishes, so I'll post my ramblings again later Smiley

I'm excited for the premiere as well! We picked up some of the comics while on vacation.  Smiley I have it set on my DVR to records since it's on during the Steelers game...I'm going to watch it right after.

I'm planning on crafting on my journal or writing in it in a bit.  Trying to catch up on laundry first and be somewhat productive.  Darn BBC America and their all day Being Human marathon!

Thanks for all the links, calluna, and thanks to Dizzer for a cool first page with everything so neat and tidy and easy to access.

I think I'll use a mix of lists and prompts and whatever else...I'm looking forward to "Walking Dead' also - I don't know the comic book but "Mad Men" is finished and so far I like the original programming on AMC.

I made some signatures today so I can start writing tomorrow, but I don't think I'll bind the book until I finish writing, that way I can keep adding more and it'll end up being the perfect size!

I'm jealous of everyone who can bind books and make journals.  It's something I'd always wanted to try. I can't wait for the gallery!

Whoops, forgot to "technically" answer the questions for the first page:

What kind of journal are you making?: recon

What do you prefer: either one should be interesting

It's the first. I start journalling today. I worked out a problem I had with the cover, so now I can put more stuff in it without it bulging. I like simple solutions.

I finished off the cover last night, so now it feels finished enough to begin.
