I've been out of the knitting/craftster world for a while, but I haven't seen anyone post anything about the Off Center Zip Cardi from VK Fall 2010.  I love, love, loved it and it was one of the reasons I plunked down the money for the mag.  Since I'm considering a move from NYC to Chicago, I'm on a budget  Undecided and had to go with acrylic yarn for this project, since the yarn I really wanted would've set me back around $80.  The knitting was fairly easy, but I was lazy and didn't take the time to adjust the pattern to not have to seam things.  So the sewing of the pieces is what took the most time.

I know it would drape differently with a natural yarn, but overall, I can't complain.

The sweater does look like a finishing nightmare, but the results are well worth it! Gorgeous! Smiley
