This was made with a recycled plastic jar that had protein powder, but you can use a plastic bleach bottle or milk jug.  Just measure how tall and mark and cut around the top.  I used plastic cutting shears, but you can use an x-acto knife or box cutter or even plain all purpose scissors if the plastic is dense enough.  I used a hole punch for the sides and tie a ribbon or cord through and secure with knots on the inside for a handle.  I drew the face on with a black paint pen.  You could also do different things like use vinyl or electrical tape to make shapes for a face, or wrap in gauze and make a mummy candy pot.  This is an easy and fun project you can do with your child.  Well, the decorating part, you might want to leave the cutting to an adult.
