My father made this hideous candelabra back in high school. The wood is base and the rest is medal that he bent and designed in a medal shop class.
It was originally white.

I spray painted in black
threw some silver dist glitter over it
I wrapped the middle section and the bottom 3 arms with thin copper wire.
Hot glued some ribbon, eyes, spiders and crow on it. (All from left over projects or michaels)
the black leaves are from 2 black roses i bought from walmart for a dollar and i just shoved them between the copper.

you can probably find any kind of a centerpiece object from a thrift store and do a similar thing.

Im not a very experienced crafter. I just play around with stuff i already have or get from others. So its nothing grand but it did dress up my table for Halloween Smiley
It just needs some orange candles.

I love how something that was once "hideous" can be pretty darn neat. I think it'd be pretty for a year round item if the spiders came off (but I'm biased against them)

Hope it gets lots of admiration for the holiday!
