So I was told quite firmly by my rather professional job that Halloween costumes are a no-go in our office.  Total bummer (Halloween is by far my favorite holiday) but there is a slight upside; I am allowed to accessorize!  As long as it's cute.  Well, I found a bag of felt eyeballs at Michael's the other day, and they're about the cutest things I ever did see, so I decided to make a little eyeball soup fascinator and bib set to wear to work.

Fascinator:

Action shot!  (seriously, I have no idea how you guys manage these by-yourself action shots.  Muy difficult!)

The red felt backing has shiny tinsel woven into it, but that didn't come across well in the photos.  I'm pretty sure this is not remotely what my boss had in mind when he was thinking "cute", but cute is subjective, right?  : )  I may not get to wear it to work but all in all I'm pretty pleased with the set.  Thanks for looking!

I have an Etsy store now, thanks to peer pressure: http://www.etsy.com/shop/MazikeenStudios
I'm also trying to make 7 things a week for a year.  http://mazikeenstudios.blogspot.com/  (Warning: this is usually pretty behind!)

Nice. I love that you have finagled a semi costume into acceptable workplace attire. And yes, by my standards, it is "cute" and only a tad gory, but in a cute way.. Wink

right ! this is awesome ! I think the bib would also be cool if it was just the blood and a lil drippirr and it would look like your neck was cut ! .. but I dont know if that would go to far past cute lol
