I made this bag over the last couple of days. The outside is made out of linen (left overs from a corset I made) and the inside out of flannel (left overs from pjs).

Oooo nice pockets!  Great bag!  Looks like maybe you pieced long strips of the green and cream fabric, cut the resulting striped fabric in half, flipped one half, and sewed it back together to make chevrons.  Yes, no? Super neat!

I made the stripes myself, just like kayray explain. cut some fabric strips, sewed them together and then cut the panels out of it.

totally love the bag, esp. the stripes.

but if made if the pockets would have velcro or something else as i am totally inept with snaps.  must be innate or something.
