Ive been itching to make a beaded necklace for quite some time but Ive just been so busy doing other things that I never got around to it until today.  I wanted something simple in construction but, colourful and eye-catching.  I love wearing long, long strings of pearls or beads wrapped around a few times so I figured Id make a necklace I could string around at least twice.

Ive had a great selection of various green glass beads just sitting around doing nothing so I decided to work with those and was quite happy with the outcome.  I wear black most of the time so I love my accessories to be bright, bold colours that contrast nicely against black.  This necklace did just that.  It also wraps around my wrist very nicely to double as a multi strand bracelet, if I want it to.  Glee!

You can see the necklace with my outfit in the thread I posted my skirt here.

spillyjane - Tankee miss! :]

SpielMitMir - Fancy that, eh?  I'm an expat Aussie living in the USA.  I guess I'm trendy in another hemisphere also ;P  Green has to be one of my favourite colours, also.
