Received this wonderful hoop yesterday from gamemom42...

She was worried it might be too plain, but it's honestly just my style and perfect for my wall.  I told her I actually have a red on white embroidered sampler done by my grandmother that has a little cottage with a garden and it says, "Let me live in the house by the side of the road and be a friend to man."  They will go perfectly together!

Thanks, gamemom!

The cottage is darling and I love everything i have been seeing!

The one that is making it to my wists is space invaders - I never would have thought to add Christmas touches to it but it works so beautifully.

I received from evilpixie yesterday. The hoop is just great!

Ooh, what do I see...

Looks like birds...

It IS birds!

I love it so much! I haven't found a place for it yet, so right now it's hanging from my notice board.

I received my work of art from muddy21 yesterday.  I have killed my camera battery taking shot after shot and I just can't get one that does this piece justice, so I'll post what I managed to get and describe the parts you just can't see.

Gorgeous, right?  The grass is ( I think) needlepunched.  It feels like one of those perfect mossy places you find under only the most perfect of trees.  You know the ones?  The ones that fairies most certainly reside near.

The moon is this perfect circle of slightly greenish yellow.  It's satin so it picks up any light in the room and actually reflects it ... like the moon!

The part that you can't see at all is that the beautiful background fabric has tiny silver shimmers all over it.

As beautiful as it looks, just imagine that it's many times that beautiful.

Thank you so much, muddy21.

The hoops I've received in both rounds of hoopla so far have been amazing.  I am so completely addicted to hoopla art now thanks to Savage Pixie, teachart, and muddy21.  Thanks ladies, I sure did need a new addiction Cheesy

more beautiful hoops! I can't take it any more  Cheesy

I love the other hoop you made gamemom42. It's so different from the one you made me- you have such a broad range of skills!

I love the fabric you for the sky on gamemom42's hoop, muddy21. So pretty!

Seeing all these hoops makes me so excited for round 3!!

Wisted the beautiful tree/moon hoop!  Needlepunching is the next craft on my list of things to learn Smiley

And the little round, beakless birds are adorable... their little chicken-nugget shapes are irresistable  Cheesy

Christmas space invaders was a great idea.  I want them for every holiday, though I'm not sure what they'd dress up as for Halloween!

Redwork is gorgeous because of its simplicity.  Everything is so clear and distinct.  Sanctuary is the perfect word to describe the little house Smiley

I adore the redwork house. It sounds like it will fit in perfectly with your sampler, muddy21. I think I might add redwork to my list of themes I love in my round 3 q'nnaire Smiley.

The bright birds are also very cute. The oval shape works really well. I'm happy that we've had so many ovals this round!

The tree is gorgeous. I love the use of different fabrics and embroidery techniques. It really makes for a lovely piece.

We still have plenty of hoopy goodness to come in this round but if you're already itching for more, Round 3 is open!
