Was just about to post the above comment when I opened the curtains to see the mail man had been! Sure enough, there was my hoopla hoop! Yay!
I sent a pic to my bestie Bambii and she agreed, it is so me. What stitch did you use Kitten Wrangler? Its really awesome
Thankyou  Grin

You like it? Really??? I'm so pleased! I stumbled upon that image searching for ideas and thought "Alice AND thimbles?? Perfect!!"

You do know the Alice in Wonderland scene it's referring to, I hope.

The stitch used on the thimble itself is coral stitch. It leaves this nice bumpyridge texture that really reminded me of the surface of a thimble.

Your hoop arrived yesterday - I hope to get some photos up tonight because you've done an AMAZING job and I love it! Cheesy

here is my thought on extras...I LOVE TO GIVE THEM.... I LOVE TO GET THEM...... I typically spoil partners, and spoil them WELL...... and when swaps have the "no extra" thing.... it is hard for me.... but rules are rules.....and I think they need to be followed, the organizer wouldnt have them, just for us to break them.....

I dont want to sound like a GRUMP.... because like I said I LOVE EXTRAS.....I guess I look at it as a personal challange not to send anything extra.

Oh!
The Chobits hoop and the Alice hoops where both sweet enough to break my heart.

I got my hoop today! and am just waiting on the boy to get home and repair the kitty damage to my camera cord to show the world my luck! (don't worry he has a soldering iron)

Me too!! I want ALL of them. Mine mine mine... Cheesy.

In case you haven't joined the chatter about Round 3 (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=364722.0) I wanted to let you know to expect a CUTE OVERLOAD. Thanks to some great suggestions from past participants, we're going to do an OTT (one tiny thing) Hoopla round in December. Hoop sizes will be between 2" - 4" Smiley

We'll jump back up to bigger sizes and possibly 2 hoops in Round 4 in case the thought of working on something so small makes your eyes cross.
