Thanks so much for all the nice comments!  Cheesy

I took a few in progress pictures so I will definitely write up a little tutorial. We used low temp glue guns, and  made sure to have  dried moss on hand to shove into all the joints while the glue was still hot to hide any that might seep out. We basically just used a pair of old scissors to score sticks and bark before breaking into the shapes and sizes we needed for furniture.

Here's a chair in progress:

it became this:

We have family coming this weekend so I have to spend the next few days hiding evidence of my craftiness Undecided
But, I will try to get a tutorial up early next week.

LOVE this!!!!  this is exactly the kind of thing i want to make aria for when she is a lil older.  i have this idea to make a fun play table with fanciful landscapes and fun wee things and creatures.  sort of like a train table but with gnomes and fairies and dragons and caves.  so cute.  i would definitely be interested in a tutorial!!

rlynn- that sounds like the most wonderful play table ever! Who wouldn't want a mysterious dragon cave?

cherry_blossom55 - I have never seen that book! It looks like just the kind of book I would love...I loved Abel's Island and all mouse stories when I was a kid.

Thanks so much for the nice comments! My daughter is so proud of our creations...it's so cute!
