I made this last year for my friend for christmas, as she and her fiance are both really into their Wii.

I forgot to take a picture of it until after I wrapped it, erg. When I was there the other week, I finally remembered and took a picture. It's kinda wonky in the frame, but oh well.

I had seen the original version done by The Domestic Scientist, http://www.thedomesticscientist.com/2008/09/08/home-is-where-the-controller-is/

but I didn't want to do the Wii logo. Therefore, I decided it would be a good idea to make my own pattern (sigh).

Using reference picture found online, I planned it out on graph paper, as I do all my x-stitch patterns. I winged parts of it and messed up here and there, but it turned out okay. My friend really liked it.

Home is DEFINITELY where the Wii is! I really love this!  You also did a great job designing/cross stitching the Wiimote...it looks exactly like one!

Awesome! My fiance and I just bought our first house, and the garage is "his".  For his birthday, I'm making him all sorts of Nintendo-themed crafts for the room.  This would be perfect to hang on the wall!  Except I think I'd do an old-school controller.
Great work!
