Before you start oogling my gifts from leafy_lane, I've got a Harry Potter related appeal to make:
The Harry Potter Alliance is waging a war against the dark arts in the real world with the Deathly Hallows Campaign.  We're out to destroy seven real life horcruxes, the first of which is the Starvation Wages Horcrux.  We're getting people to sign (and get their friends to sign) a petition to get Time/Warner to make all their Harry Potter movie chocolate fair trade.  You can sign the petition online (and earn points for your house of choice) at this website.  http://thehpalliance.org/action/campaigns/deathly-hallows/horcrux-1/ Thank you!

Now onto my goodies!

Some green and silver fingerless gloves for when I feel like showing my Slytherin side.  These went right onto my hands and I didn't take them off all evening.  They're nice and loose, which keeps the heated air next to my skin, so although they're thin sock yarn, my hands were actually sweating when I took them off, and my hands are ALWAYS cold.  One of them has a dark mark on the back of the hand.  They match a Slytherin scarf I already had (I'm a Ravenclaw, honest...sometimes it's just so good to be bad)

A bunch of chocolate frogs in little purple boxes Smiley  Nom!  But wait, there's more, inside were also:

Chocolate frog collector cards!  They went right up on my wall.  There's my two faves, Luna Lovegood and Gilderoy Lockhart, plus all the main characters.

Oh no!  This Magic Book of Monsters has eaten my hand!  And my holiday money, because it's actually a secret compartment book.  I've never had one of these!  I was keeping my savings in a vitamin bottle.

Thanks leafy_lane!

Sorry about the wait, I was ambushed with college visits and havent had time to take pictures. Charmingflaws is the bomb and I shall now show you why:

This is my favorite item, my Hufflepuff skirt! I love the way she captured the yellow and black stripes while avoiding the bumblebee look, and it fits me better than some things Ive made for myself! Plus its so finished and professional looking, I couldnt believe it wasnt bought. And the ruffles oh man the ruffly ruffles Cheesy. Its also got this black lace bow in the back (you cant see it in the pictures but it rocks) I am so in love with this skirt it hurts.

She also made me a house elf hat (thats right, two wearable items, be jealous!), just in time for winter weather (it hailed the day I got my package). It also fits great and I love the ears. Sorry for the blurriness, my dad is not the best cameraman. Theres also a Dumbledore plate and cockroach cluster that I am trying (futility) to save for the premier.

Finally she gave me Harrys scrapbook, which has a beyond gorgeous cover (which is unfortunately appearing as a really huge picture so can't be included until I make it smaller somehow)

Here are some of my favorite pages:

Now theres the matter of whether Im going to fill the remaining pages with Harry Potter, future craft swaps, or my own crafts Oh yeah and I also need to learn how to scrapbook.

THANK YOU CHARMINGFLAWS!!!

(now to look at all the packages people received since my last post)
