I made this for a swap partner's daughter!  It was not the easiest plushie I've ever made but it sure was fun.  And apparently, my daughter spied it in my craft room while I was at school and totally was crushed when Daddy had to tell her it wasn't hers.  He firmly told me to keep toys wrapped up from now on and that I WAS going to make her one soon.  He did not tell me what would happen if I did not but his tone suggested it wouldn't be pleasant.  Heh.

I bought the pattern from DIYFluffies.  http://www.mariskavos.nl/fluffels/patterns.htm  She has a cute elephant and kitty pattern too that I'm thinking of buying.  Smiley

thanks for looking!  Smiley

I've been thinking about getting this pattern for awhile now. He sure is cute and you did a great job. You should make your daughter's in her favorite color. I know my daughter would love one in pink or purple.

I think he is adorable!  Maybe you could explain to your daughter, that not everything you make is for her.  That you like to spread the happiness around.  If my husband spoke to me like that, I would tell him where to go in a heart beat.

thanks everyone!  It was a pretty straight forward pattern, so i totally recommend it.  Smiley

oh she rarely gets anything i make.  its my new years solution for 2011.  to focus on some projects for her.  id hate for her to think back on her childhood and remember all the cool things momma made but none of them were for her.

and no worries, the hubby was joking.  i wouldnt have stood for it had he been serious.   Smiley
