I just finished up this baby quilt made with a Moda "Whimsy" charm pack. It is about 38"x42"....I wish is was a little bigger, but that's ok! Despite the blue, this is a quilt for a baby girl. Her mom didn't want anything tooooo girly in her room. It does have a lot of floral fabrics in it, but I'm second guessing myself on if it looks too boyish. It is backed in a yellow minky fabric. I used no batting, so it is more fluid. Honest feedback is appreciated!

I made up the design in my brain, and I did a wavy line topstich...and this was my first attempt at prairie points. I actually like them a lot.

Love it!  I don't think it is too boyish at all.  Very neutral, and adorable!  Are those sticking-up triangles the prairie points?  They are great, esp for a baby blanket.

They sure are! I got the idea from another craftster poster, who got her idea from a Moda Bakeshop recipe. I liked it so much I borrowed the idea. Smiley and thank you. You know how it gets when you're to close to the project!

That's gorgeous! I would have loved that for my baby girl.  Not too boyish at all! Smiley

What an excellent job!!  Its beautiful - not boyish at all, and not overly sugary-pink-girly which I'm sure is what she didn't want.  Wink  I love it!!
