I did a fun swap where you had to create 25 little boxes for Christmas and then put little gifts in them. After you made them, you then sent them to a host and she mixed them all up so you got 25 different boxes. It was so much fun to do.

These are all of my boxes before I sent them out.

Thanks!  Kiss

The swap I did was for a blog-A Swap for All Seasons. She has around 4 swaps a year. There are some beautiful ones from the hostess over there.

I think these are fantastic!

I would love to have a set like this. What sort of little gifts did you put in them? I think that's where I would have a hard time.

These are wonderful! What a great idea, I may have to do these for my family/friends sometime...perhaps for other occasions as well as Christmas.  Did you use up all the matches or did you find empty matchboxes somewhere?

I actually bought matchboxes and emptied them. We have a fireplace so they definitely won't go to waste or,if you didn't have one, you could always use the matches for another craft Cheesy. They would be great for Halloween or Easter or even as birthday favors.

Very good point! I don't have a fireplace, but I love to burn candles and heaven knows we lose lighters like crazy around here Smiley  I didn't know if it was possible for someone to buy just the box (I'm sure there's a site SOMEWHERE haha)

These are adorable and the ones on the blog as well.   What a fun swap idea!  I'd love to see what you put inside and what you receive.

I love your creativity on the matchbooks. I played in this swap for 2010 as well and it was my first time playing with matchboxes. I recently went out and bought 100 of the small boxes and then some of the bigger ones because I'm going to do this for my kids this year too. The cashier looked at me like I was nuts. However, after seeing all the (way cooler than mine) boxes come in on the A Swap For All Seasons blog I'm inspired to do more. You can view mine at lauricrowe.blogspot .com
