Everybody loves Totoro! I sketched everything on tracing paper before transferring the images to the wooden frame. I drew Totoro separately on a thin piece of pine (found in the model airplane aisle at Michael's) and then glued him to the main frame. The little bugs and critters along the side are from the opening credits of the movie.

Many apologies in advance if the Japanese characters aren't 100% correct. I tried copying them from a Japanese movie poster for Totoro, but the image was kinda blurry.

Nice job. Smiley Don't worry about the Japanese. I could read it with no problem. Grin

Oh, do I have a gift idea for Christmas!  My daughter LOVES Totoro!  (Well, really anything Japanese).

This is definitely going in her stocking!

Teriffic idea!

I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

My kids are the reason I was born.

I don't just embrace insanity, I feel it up, french kiss it and buy it a drink!
