Yeah. It's really easy to let him become the most interesting character because of that.

Duly noted. The phrasing of your critique could be less abrasive, but you have a good point. I flipped him earlier today and not only are his shoulders ridiculous but they're also lopsided. It's what I get for drawing at 3 am and thinking it'll be amazing.

I'm sorry! I had no intention of being abrasive about it. (I'm one of those people who just says whatever I think, and although I don't think I seem as harsh in person, I have been told I'm about as smooth as 40 grit sandpaper, so I guess I should probably work on that!) Honestly, though, I don't think there's anything wrong with your artistry at all- I just felt like he looked older than you said he was..

Also, I love the new hair!

2 - because it suits him best, and I like the versatility to have it up and down depending on the mood you're trying to convey at the moment.

I agree Smiley

No worries. I like the input. And you do have a good point about it.

UPDATE:
A friend of mine suggested combining the shape of 4 with the style of 2 and taking the coffee away from him. So I present the mellower, slightly more interesting face of Martin.

I think the updated 2/4 combo the best! Keep that one!
