hello all....
i bet you are all sick of my freakin skulls, but i think i will stick to this tunisian crochet stuff



these wrist bands were done in the tunisian crochet stitch! i think they look really sharp, and i think i will wear THESE more often. Smiley

i used worste weight acrylic yarn... i chained about 25, then worked the rows and worked in the skull pattern. i just dropped the yarn when i had to switch a color... i can't figure out how to carry the other color of yarn along... if anyone has suggestions, i'd greatly appreciate it. Smiley

sorry for the crappy pics.... i'll be getting a real digi cam in a couple of week! (yay! i'm graduating!!!)

I am definitely not sick of seeing them.. I want a pair of cuffs with lemons on them.. I just make plain wristcuffs right now. Undecided you are so awesome. Cool

hey, i just used a really simple chart i pretty made up by myself



it's a seven by seven chart. you can double it to make it bigger, etc. i print out chart paper and plan stuff out for bigger, etc.

anyhow, the pattern for the wrist bands is really easy
i chained about 25 (or to fit your wrist) worked in tunisian knit stitch for 2 rows, at stitch 13 on the 3rd row, i picked up the new color to start the pattern for the chart. when i finish the chart pattern, i just worked in tunisian knit stitch in the main color for 2 rows again, then finished off and sewed the sides together.

does that help?

(yeah... i edited this reply w/ the correct tag/link thinger. that knitting factory thing, that's the show i'll be going to tonite, and i think i'll wear the wristbands there too!)

they are super easy to make. i think total, they took me about 2 hours to make, stitching them up and all. plus, i'm new to the whole switching colors thing.

my friends keep telling me i should sell my crocheted stuff.... maybe i'll make more of these. Smiley
