I have a couple of ideas for christmas gifts, just haven't actually figured out how/if they can be done.

First, I'm wanting to make a pair of slippers [similiar to Snoozies! buysnoozies is the website] but haven't been able to locate instructions for a similar thing, plus I've never made slippers before, so hoping someone here can give me some pointers, or point me into the right direction!

Second, a stuffed animal heat pack [similar to nellycuddles], I'm just not 100% on the eyes on stuffed animals. I'm thinking that the nellycuddles ones have regular eyes as well, but wasn't sure on how to address that issue, as I thought of how easy it would be to open up a stuffed animal and replace the stuffing, or buy an unstuffed animal and fill to be a heat pack.

I hope I posted this in the right place, I'm usually just a lurker, but could use some advice! thanks in advance!

I had never heard of either of them!  My son has been singing that stupid pillow pet song for months now.  But I think for $20 it's easier/cheaper just to buy one of those!  Good luck!

Well I want to make a couple of each, so I'm thinking it would cost me less to make them myself, rather than $10 plus shipping/tax for the slippers, and the animals are $25 a piece

Anyone out there got any tips? Sad
