Okay, I got a picture of the OTT I received!  



The hat and scarf are orange and purple, which are my wedding colors.  My anniversary is Sunday, so I consider this sort of an anniversary gift!  I LOVE it!

How awesome is that?  SUPER awesome is the correct answer!

So I got this opened and my mom and I sat here for like 5 minutes oohing and aahing.



And actually I spent a good 30 seconds staring at just this part trying to figure it out. Never did, by the way. I'm going to just assume this was made by magic.

That amulet bag is AMAZING! The colors are gorgeous and the spider web at the top of the bag is perfect. I am SO wisting it! (and if it "happens" to go missing, I will claim that I don't *won't* know anything about it  )

Yea! I'm so glad you like it.  It's beaded tapestry crochet. The bag is all single crochet stitches with a bead in each stitch and the "chain" part is all chain stitches with a bead in every other stitch. I was starting to get worried that the glass beads were getting kind of heavy and I was afraid it was going to be to heavy to wear.

I was going to make the fringe with all clear beads but as I was just beginning to add the fringe I remembered something that happened to me many years ago.  It was close to Halloween and we had gotten a bag of apples. They looked so good I couldn't wait to get the caramel on them and just picked one up and "briefly" rinsed it under the faucet, sat down and bite into it. It was so good and juicy. After another bite or two something on my shirt caught my eye. I looked down and there were all these teeny tiny little "dots"(baby spiders)  moving around on my shirt and up my arm.  Needless to say that shirt came off really fast as I ran outside brushing off spiders as I ran. Their web covered the stem part of my apple and apparently I woke them up. After this memory entered my brain I decided to have each little line of fringe end with one tiny black bead. So those are all her babies you see. Anyway, Happy Halloween everyone and don't forget to wash those apples really well.
