I received fantastic package from Varandra yesterday and I couldnt post pics because we had to make an 'emergency' trip to the most Swedish part of the Netherlands (hm yeah Ikea indeed Tongue).

I was just about to go for a walk with my son, when the mailman rang. No, no walk!....I was too curious, so we started opening it immediately:

First of all a Hello Kitty card & produce bags and cute crocheted decorations:

And then an awesome bag made from milk cartons with an ajustable handle so I can choose if I attach it to my bike or wear it over my shoulder! It's perfect!

I already used it and people asked me where I found this cool bag.  Cheesy

And inside were a lot of surprises, packed in Swedish newspaper.
First of all a pair of slippers made from reclaimed retro fabric, aren't they lovely?:

Two lavender sachets made from Japanese fabric:

Perfect for my new wardrobe!

And...*jumps from excitement* a travel organizer from my wist!

I love the combination of different patterns&colours!
And matching travel labels:

..And what is this mysterious box?

It's home made jam!

And last but not least, a hand bound (Japanese style) booklet with veggie sushi recipes:

I've made Japanese food many times, but still see new things in your recipes that I'll try soon!

After seeing these pics you can image I felt like a birthday girl, a very spoiled and very happy one!  Cheesy
Thanks Varandra for making me such a beautiful swap package, the items but also the materials you used are just perfect for me! A very loud and sincere THANK YOU!

IdlersDesign sent to me the day before yesterday, so impatient optimistic me is now pasted at the kitchen table overlooking the mailboxes up the road, ready to race up there as soon as the yellow postcar pulls up!

Hope the yellow car comes soon... Wink

OMG I TOTALLY wisted those slippers!!  I wisted them SO hard my finger tip's bruised Cheesy  I MUST swap for a pair of those, I'd make ANYTHING for 'em!!  What a fabulously frugal and recycled package.  I'm seriously crushing on that milk carton tote, I've been lusting after a large bag made out of either cartons or bags (chip bags, etc.) or out of plastic grocery bags crocheted.  I thought I had a bag wisted made out of each medium...I know I have something on there out of bags or cartons, need to wist something out of plastic bags.

Wow, great packages! We have some very talented people here Cheesy

I was lucky enough to be paired with stellou. I said blue and colourful, and she crafted some bright frugalness!
Something I did not expect...a gorgeous quilt. I LOVE the colours. It's perfect beyond words Smiley

She also made me a lavendar sachet, two dish cloths, bought me some beads (YES!!!), chocolate, and made a lovely card for me. I was so touched because Estelle told me she was a new knitter, and I can imagine the hard work that went into all of this. Actually, she was an inspiration to me. I've learned to knit now Smiley

How impressive is that??

Thank you again, Estelle! You've been a dream to swap with Cheesy
