Absolutely gorgeous!  I am very envious.   Definitely makes me wish I knew how to knit.

Thanks! You should definitely learn how to knit! It's patterns like this that inspired me to learn!  Grin

Beautiful work.  It has such a flatterning fit and looks lovely.

Thank you!

That looks fabulous. I love Stitch Diva patterns. I'm making the Simple Bodice in cashmere right now. Knitting top down is the only way to go once you've done it, huh?
btw, the sheen in your yarn comes from the bamboo. It's such a cool fiber.
Congratulations on a gorgeous sweater.  Grin

Thanks Renstar and MrsBowles!  Cheesy

Yes, the Stitch Diva patterns are really nice! I really love knitting top down too! My previous experience in top-down was with baby sweaters, but this was my first adult.

Can't wait to see your Simple Bodice! That's on my to-knit list as well, although I think if I was to pick one to do next, it would be Le Cirque.

Oh, Le Cirque is so flattering. I forgot to mention that I'm also making the Broomstick Lace hourglass jacket in, guess what...a wool/bamboo blend. What a coinkidink!

Yes! I love the sleeves on Le Cirque (maybe I have a sleeve thing? lol), I'm not sure how I feel about the collar/choker thing that goes with it.  Definitely something I plan on knitting in the future, once holiday knitting is over anyway.

LOVE wool and bamboo blends! The one I used for Giselle also had silk in it too. It's like you get the best of both worlds: the warmth and structure of wool and the sheen and drape of bamboo  Grin

This was actually a surprisingly easy knit! The hardest part was probably the short rows to shape the sleeves (and even still, it wasn't really as much hard as time consuming).  Otherwise it's just stockinette with increasing and decreasing. Smiley
