I have been creating all of these different flowers that each have their own little story line. Would love to know what you guys think! Descriptions are above each flower.
In the deepest parts of Hell is a jungle. And in the deepest parts of that jungle are creatures and plants unheard of by man, things that strike fear into the hearts of the most brave and courageous.
One of those plants is a bush with many different flowers. No flower on it is like any other. They all are very poisonous and can cause any sort of disease and decay.
Beautiful Carnivorous Flower:
This beautiful flower is probably one of the most dangerous. It is a carnivorous flower with extremely sharp teeth in the center of a hidden mouth. When there is potential prey around the mouth becomes hidden and is engorged right before attacking. The flower is a pro at letting it's prey get comfortable while it waits it out. Once it has attached itself to it's prey, with it's incredibly strong jaws (flowers with mouths have to have jaws right?), it will devour it's prey within a short period of time. It can devour a full grown goat within an hour, but a fly will keep it satisfied for over a month because of it's slow metabolism. Fortunately, it does not attack unless it is hungry or feels threatened. You should be fine with wearing him as long as you let him have a fly or beetle every once in a while. And the neighbors obnoxious dog will probably keep him satiated for a couple of years.
Decaying Zombie Flower:
This particular flower is exactly what it seems. It is a zombie flower. Well into it's last stages of decay, it's poison is at it's strongest. The toxin released from this flowers seeping leaves is thick and red with the consistency and appearance of blood. If it comes into contact with an open wound on it's victim, the victim will slowly become a zombie. Early signs of toxic poisoning are limping, sudden fits of rage and attacking small children without cause. Other, more minor symptoms include slow or impeded speech, sagging flesh, and constant desires for fresh or raw meat. Be aware of these signs in friends and family members that come into contact with this flower at all times!
The Kraken Flower:
This next flower is most comfortable in water. In fact a part of the bush of the depths happens to grow down into the small pong of water beside it. This particular flower is dubbed "The kraken" because of it's lethal and powerful beak and the odd cup shapes on it's petals. Once detached from the bush, the flower can swim through water, using it's petals to stroke like the tentacles of an octopus. Pre-emptive DNA tests show that this flower has the ability to regenerate and to grow at alarmingly fast rates when submerged in salt water. Fresh water has no growth effects on the flower. The flower is one of the few non-poisonous flowers upon the bush, but it does have an incredible grip. It's suction cups can rip the flesh from bone and it's incredible beak can crunch through steel. It's prefers fish so as long as you don't eat sushi around it, you should be fine.
The Tentacle Terror Flower:
This flower is also most comfortable in water. In fact a part of the bush of the depths happens to grow down into the small pong of water beside it. Once the flower is detached from the bush, it can move within water on it's on. The tentacles are used to wrap around it's prey and drag them down into the depths where it can tuck the victim under a log to get a bit softer for a week or so. We have managed to capture it and dose it with a sedative that remains in it's system as long as it does not come in contact with water. Keep it away from water so that it doesn't attempt to make you into it's next meal.
Black Blood Flower:
Unfortunately, this flowers poison is released into the air upon being picked. The person who picks it, breathes the poison in and it causes them to bleed to death through their nose. Luckily, I came along and discovered this after it had already been picked. I was able to obtain it without any difficulties myself but unfortunately, the mans blood remains on the flower.
Purple Brain Flower:
This particular flower is interestingly different. It's poison is transported through tiny brain tissue tentacles which grow from it's center. The tentacles grow quickly to implant themselves into it's victim. The flower can then live detached from it's host plant as long as it's human or animal victim is living. However, it will completely control it's victim. The flowers effects leave an eerily zombie-like quality on it's victims. Once the victim is dead, the flower has approximately 24 hours to find suitable living conditions again.
And now onto the zombie deterrents/distractions!
Most of these brains are still pink and fresh. They may be the perfect thing to carry around in case of a zombie outbreak. If you notice any zombies chasing you, throw the pendant brain or earring brains to the ground and the zombies will be easily distracted when they try to eat it, while you get away. The already zombified brains come in handy too. If you carry one with you, zombies will most likely think you are one of their own and won't attack...
