My precious apples are now protected against unnecessary bruising from rattling around in my lunch box all day.  I've made simpler apple cozies with with handles so they could be carried on their own but I made these a little bit more elaborate in time for easter.  I love the bunnies in love and they'd look adorable in an easter basket so that kids won't just eat candy!  It definitely makes a healthy alternative more fun for the kiddies.
You can see pictures of my cozies here https://www.professorpincushion.com/userblog/professorpincushion/apple-cozy

These are adorable!  I'm guessing that's elastic around the top?

it's gathered with a running stitch, using yarn.  I just tie it in a bow in the back.  Thanks for looking.
