Ohh goody, I'm happy you like everything! I hope the colours are okay...

It wasn't Tunisian, I taught myself a new technique for this. It's made using Flat Tapestry Crochet. It's basically tapestry crochet, but instead of turning your work around, you switch hands (1 row left-hand, 1 row right-hand) - I can now officially say I'm an ambidextrous crocheter Cheesy I'd never done tapestry crochet either so it was a lot of fun to do! Since I had so many colours, I didn't carry them, so the back was pretty messy, but I hid everything with some felt.

I was thinking of starting a thread in the crochet board with the chart for the horse (which took me forever to make), if people are interested in trying it Undecided

Ooooo I just LOVE my Horse hanging---

Ok, here are the hooped up pieces. No pics of the backs, the thimble is just plain red felt and the kitty is multi coloured hearts

I received from Sherrie B, UT!

Check out all my back to school goodies:

An adorable backpack and some fabric to line it

The softest neck-warmer EVER

Some "bling"

A crocheted headband

Sorry, no action shot for these... I have an eye infection so Undecided

And some really cool extras (some flashing lights, a travel first aid kit, a buckle, a flashing reflector buckle, some fabric squares, and repositionable glue stick)

I hope I didn't forget anything... She also included a beautiful picture of  summer in her area of the globe, but I couldn't get a nice shot of it.

Thank Sherrie, your package made my day Kiss

I received today!  OMG, the most amazing package, EVER.  I just can't believe how perfect it is.  She pegged me perfectly.  I'm so excited!  I can't put pictures up now, mostly because its the middle of the night.  But I haven't exactly unpacked my camera yet.  Or the cord.  And I just now got the internet up.  But I just LOVE everything.  I can't wait to put pictures up so everyone can see all the goodies.

YAY!!! I received!  I got the most AMAZING swap package from CamOovas on Monday.  I was in the middle of unpacking in my new apartment and I decided it was time to open the box.  It brightened my day amazingly.  It was exactly what I needed even though I had no idea I needed it.  Ok.  Enough gushing about the amazingness.  Onto the goodies!

So here's my new buddha shelf in my new bedroom in my new (very old) apartment.

There's this beautiful needlefelted girl meditating on a lotus blossom.

Ok, then we have these two gorgeous pendants.  The reddish one is an endless knot.

As if that wasn't enough, she also made me these mala beads.  They are so pretty.  Perfect for counting during meditation.

Wow.. Thanks so much!  This was one of the BEST swap packages I've ever received.

I messed something up in my preferences and wasn't getting my notifications for awhile, so I'm behind on posts!  That horse tapestry is amazing, and the wee thimbles, especially that teeny door, are so cute!  The little embroideries are adorable, and that backpack is gorgeous.  And the new altar things...what a wonderful, amazing way to bring blessings to your new home!
