I received my beautiful kitchen starter kit from jungianwanderer today!  The colors are so chocolatey and yummy I just want to go have a mocha and a biscotti.  LOL!  She sent 3 embellished placemats in cappucino, and the little spirals are just so perfect.  They will set a theme for us.  And there are 5 handkerchiefs that are this beautiful paisley that coordinates but doesn't match, which is exactly what I want.  And then there are 4 each of cappucino and espresso colored cotton napkins, and then 3 of the most beautiful, chocolatey dish towels I've ever seen.  And I've looked!

This is *just* the feeling we wanted for our new coffee/cocoa theme in our kitchen.  Thank you so much, jungianwanderer!

The whole spread:

The dish towels were obviously store bought, but I was wrapping other things up and saw them and thought they might be nice.

WAIT...3 placemats? I made 4  Huh

Darn and double darn. I have to look through my crafty things and see what I did with the other placemat so that I can send it on it's way.

That being said, I'm glad you like everything...it was a fun swap Smiley

I'm back after a long hiatus. Not doing any big swaps right now but feel free to message me for small ones and supply exchanges. I have a bunch of fabric that I'd like to swap for different supplies!

Also, I have a pintrest now Smiley

LOL...I'll look forward to a possible 4th placemat, then.  They'll be great once we get a dining set!  LOL!  And like I said, we can spread them over the pillows on our laps till then.  :-)  And yes, those dishtowels are *perfect*.  I've looked all over for some, and those are way better than anything I saw.  They make me want brownies...mmmmmmmm m

Ohh goody, I'm happy you like everything! I hope the colours are okay...

It wasn't Tunisian, I taught myself a new technique for this. It's made using Flat Tapestry Crochet. It's basically tapestry crochet, but instead of turning your work around, you switch hands (1 row left-hand, 1 row right-hand) - I can now officially say I'm an ambidextrous crocheter Cheesy I'd never done tapestry crochet either so it was a lot of fun to do! Since I had so many colours, I didn't carry them, so the back was pretty messy, but I hid everything with some felt.

I was thinking of starting a thread in the crochet board with the chart for the horse (which took me forever to make), if people are interested in trying it Undecided

Wow, I love those colors!  So bright!  And the kitchen set looks awesome, too!

I received today, but it's in the apartment office.  And of course, they are at lunch...
