I'm in desperate need of suggestions for my in-laws 40th Anniversary. They are taking us (my husband, me, & brother & sis in law) on a Cruise with them for their 40th anniversary, since all of our anniversarys fall in October. I really want to do something special for them. Their anniversary is the day we arrive home from the cruise. Money is tight right now with hubby out of work, but I still want to do or make something for them, as a congratulations and to say think you for everything they do for us.

Anyone have any suggestions?

If you can get hold of an old photo of them (maybe their wedding photo) could you make them a special photo frame?

Hmmm...it doesn't sound very exciting, but it's all I can think of right now!

How very sweet!  I hope this isn't too late.  Maybe a quilt, crocheted or knitted blanket?

Or, continuing in the vein of the PP, a digital photo album or CDs of all the family photos?  That would be such a good way to preserve family memories forever, instead of having paper photos be subject to the degeneration of time.
