I haven't posted in quite a while. here's what I've been up to...!

bunches of these...

few pouches...

what do you all think of these? I'm way underpricing them, and still have only sold a couple. (but I think they're super cute! am I just kidding myself?)

few bracelets. I need to get more pictures...

bracelet, chocker/bracelet, headwrap/scarflettes

new adventure, felty bags... (this is my first one, don't laugh!)

in other words, I've been having a whole lotta fun. all thanks to the crappy economy and being jobless. whoop! I'll try to get some more pictures soon!

all comments, questions, and ridicules welcome Grin

No ridicules...these are all beautiful.  I especially like the orange & gray neckwarmer at the top.

I'd love to actually be able to feel the texture of your felted items.

hehe thank you, thank you! I've had lots of time to experiment lately. I'd really like to take some workshops next summer.

I'd love to actually be able to feel the texture of your felted items.
isn't that the best part? if you live in NY, I'm selling some of my stuff at a farmers market tomorrow ;-)

Do you wet felt everything??? Is it terribly time consuming? I tried nuno felting a couple of times and I was surprised with how much time (and muscle) it took.

yup, everything is wet felted! sometimes, (like for the neck pieces) I'll needle felt the design into place, then wet felt it. that seems to make the process go by a little quicker, but overall it still takes about the same amount of time. from what I've heard, nuno felting takes a bit longer, because you have to start off reallllly slow and gentle. I've yet to try it, but I've been collecting ugly, open weave scarves so I can experiment!

your stuff is really pretty! I just took my first stab at wet felting, really enjoyed it and hope to continue! I def. want to try making a neck warmer thing.  Trying mittens right now, we'll see how it goes...
