Dig boxes for Rabbits

I've noticed that my two Rabbits (Artemis and Dumbledore) are getting bored, so I want to make them a box that they can dig in.
I want it to be big enough so that they can't jump out.
What should I fill up with?

I used to make one for my rabbit using a cardboard box with a door hole cut into it and filled it with coconut bedding (that I had for my hermit crab) and shredded newspaper. I would also hide little treats in the box. She'd make a mess out of it but she loved it!
