Here are some paintings and a couple mixed media pieces I made within the last few months. The motorcycle is ink and watercolor, the bee and chicken have a bit of paper cutting and colored pencil thrown in, and all the rest is acrylic on masonite.

I'd love to know what you think. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

These are great! The bee one is my favorite for sure! Are they on canvas or panel?

Thanks!

Are they on canvas or panel?

I use masonite. It's a really smooth wood composite, the same stuff they make skateboard ramps out of. You can buy it in big sheets at the hardware store and cut it down to whatever size or shape you want. To prep the surface for painting, just sand it a bit and gesso it.

Okay, favorites are the Bee, the Robot, and the Octopus!!

Small constructive criticism? The top left canvas on the octopus, where it's the top part of a tentacle.. Personally.. I feel like it looks like it just ends. Like I can't tell if i drops back down? Or got cut off??? I think it should twist up into another spiral like the bottom right, or extend off the canvas.

Just my opinion! I think they're all great though.

One more thing, what do you mean by swap paintings? Are these paintings you're sending off to some people for swapping? If so, they're lucky people!! Great job on all of them!!
