muddy21 sent me this wonderful Abandoned Buildings ATC that features an old ice house on Monhegan Island  in Maine, a place I have always wanted to go. If I ever make it there, though, this structure is finally gone.  I am glad she got a pic of it before it went! She told me the history of it and how they stored ice in it from the nearby pond and sold it all over the place!  I love these bits of history, and this building truly sends me. It is a place I would have loved to explore.

I received my ATC from Kartiana today! I must say I am completely thrilled with it, and the pictures do not do it justice.

The theme she went with was "forensics"


She made me a mini case file!


Complete with a "hair" sample, fake "blood" and finger prints. The writing in the background is all about the jugular vein.


And the hair sample is in this cute little bag.

next up is from suereal, who sent two - the first on my fire theme, and these, yes, are HERS!

what a nice and different take on my theme.  this is the first fire atc i have.
and she made one on my Engrish Funny concept, too.  It is chock full of wonderful phrases like Keep away the string or thread to the children, and Press hard of the knob-pushlid by hand and make a shape in order!  Love it!!

This is the one i claimed.  It's a whimsical (I hope) hand drawn robot card.


This is an extra one I sent for her category Quilts.  This is a quilt I made for my Mom for her and my Fathers 50Th wedding anniversary.  My sister made the one for my Dad, and then we switched and did the quilting on each others quilts.  It's one of my favo things I have done, and I just wanted to share my Mom's quilt heheh

wow! this recent set of post are completely blowing me away! love the forensics file idea, and the christmas card is lovely. that quilt is beyond awesome! and i am coveting those shoes! did you make them or do they sell those? seriously, i WANT a pair!

rec'd this really great "recycle fairy" atc from suereal! the card is made of all sorts of recycled materials. she also explained how the fairy has blessed her with everything from craft items to clothes and is sending her blessings my way. in the atc the fairy is blessing my town with her recycling inspiration! i can't tell you how much i love this card! it's so clever!
