I recieved from curiousfae yesterday for Saints of odd things ATC. And I got a bonus card, Legendary Creatures.

The saint card says, "Saint Julian The Hospitaller.  Patron saint of boatman, wandering musicians, clowns, and murders"...now that is an odd group Grin

Thanks a bunch curiousfae!

I received my owl today from blupaisan.

It is my very first, and it is even all fuzzy and dimensional.  Thank you very much, blupaisan!  My husband thought it was the coolest thing ever, too.  I think the thought kind of escaped him that I would not only be making them but getting them also.

I received this enchanting hobbit house from CuriousFae.  She says it's based on some lucky-person's actual real life home! Wow.  Can you imagine living in a hobbit-like house!  Too cool!

The quote says, "The road goes ever on and on, Down from the door where it began..."

Thanks, CuriousFae!  It's lovely!  I'm just going to have to break out the books again for the fourth time...that hobbit house is beckoning me into its depths!  Smiley

I also received this hand-drawn, hand-painted watercolor ATC from blupaisan.  It is too cool.  It's theme is one of my favorite poems, by Charles Dickens: Ode to an Expiring Frog.  Highly sarcastic, this poem always makes me laugh, and I've had it memorized since I first read it as a teenager.

At risk of boring you'all, I will here quote the poem so you can see how marvelously blupaisan illustrated it:

 "Ode to an Expiring Frog"

'"Can I view thee panting, lying
     On thy stomach, without sighing;
Can I unmoved see thee dying
     On a log
     Expiring frog!"'

'"Say, have fiends in shape of boys,
With wild halloo, and brutal noise,
     Hunted thee from marshy joys,
     With a dog,
     Expiring frog!"'

As you can see, this poor expiring frog (on a log, yet) is not only being hounded and (eep) chewed on by a puppy--but it's being poked at by a boy!  Poor frog!  lol

I love this, blupaisan!  It's perfect!  Thanks!  Smiley

I received from suereal in Canada!  She sent me an adorable big-eyed-frog, titled "Ohhh! Food!".  She says "This is a paper version of a frog I have been drawing since the 1st grade."  It's SO cute!  The whole thing is artfully crafted, with different glittery papers, a 3D fly in the corner (!), beads on the toe ends, and it is all covered in a very shiney sealer that makes it all shine so pretty!

You go girl!  Keep up the drawing, it's darling!  Smiley Thanks so much for giving me something that's so much a part of you!  Smiley

I'm so tickled you like him.  The shiny sealer stuff is Diamond Glaze.  First time I ever used it.   It's stinky but cool stuff
