I know it's practically Christmas, and that I still have 5 gifts left to knit, crochet or finish....but I'm not so good at ignoring the little voices in my head which keep saying "start something new...make something for yoooooouuu", and so this skirt, which has been lurking in my "pile of things I want to make", was born.

I got the pattern from ravelry, but ignored the finishing bit, and just did a round of chains instead- I was running out of wool! http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/jolly-rancher (. It's the jolly Rancher skirt, made with my current love and obsession, Alafoss lopi. So it's possible the warmest skirt in the world too  Grin
